This book is a bright, vibrant rhyming children’s story that is perfect for nighttime. It is a good choice to read to children as they are preparing to go to sleep. It starts off with the unicorns having a party and dancing. Slowly, it shifts to the end of the dance and time time when the unicorns go to sleep. All is told through an adorable rhyming story. The unicorns sing a wonderful song before they go to sleep, and even their friends in the woods come out to hear it before drifting off to dream. The illustrations will capture any child’s imagination. The story is one that can help encourage a child to sleep, and children and parents alike will want to sing the nighttime song. This is a wonderful way to help children who have difficulty settling down and going to sleep: Sing the unicorns’ nighttime song and try again.
