This is a beautiful and simple book about friendship and adventure! In this book, a little polar bear becomes hungry and wanders off to find food. When he puts down his food he finds it is taken away by what becomes a new friend, a baby tiger. The baby tiger explains he is far from home and lost. The polar bear offers to help him get home and they go on an adventure filled with new animal friends. When they make it back, the baby tiger’s father offers to bring the polar bear home. The polar bears and tigers become fast friends showing that being different animals does not mean you can’t be friends. The illustrations are simple and beautiful as if they are not fully done but a little light, airy and snowy. This is such a beautiful book about friendship and not allowing anything stop you from finding your goal. A book for any child’s library.
