his is a wonderful story based on a real life individual and her experience one day at the jersey shore. The main character is in a wheel chair and has really big dreams. She always tells people someday but then the lifeguard on the beach asks her why wait? This sparked an idea to get together her friends and put on a performance. Together they made everything for the play of Peter Pan. The day of the performance it rained but she did not let that stop her. Once the rain stopped the main character and her friends put on the play and improvised anyways. This is a book that is so incredibly fun and inspiring at the same time! The story of the character it is based on is at the back of the book. This is a wonderful way to show children that anything is possible no matter the circumstances.

5/5 stars
